On October 26th, President Zeng Qingliang met the world-famous linguist Paul Kerswill in Qianfoshan Campus. Zeng Qingliang introduced the basic situation of the history and the disciplines of SDNU, especially the scientific research achievements of School of Chinese Language and Literature. He also emphasized that SDNU is looking forward to strengthening cooperation with Professor Kerswill in the field of linguistics. At the same time, he hoped that Kerswill will promote the two universities' cooperation in the fields of personnel exchanges and joint research.
Paul Kerswill introduced the academic cooperation situation in the linguistics discipline. He said that he is willing to cooperate with SDNU in more fields.
