The Fifth Seminar of Innovation Alliance of Young and Middle-aged Scholars in Languages and Characters Application hosted by the Innovation Alliance of Young and Middle-aged Scholars in Languages and Characters Application and organized by the School of Chinese Language and Literature was held in Qianfoshan Campus from October 26th to 27th. Vice president Wan Guangxia, deputy director of the department of Language Information Management of the Ministry of Education Li Qiang, and director of the Shandong Provincial Language Commission Office Sun Zuxing attended the opening ceremony.More than eighty young and middle-aged scholars from York University, the University of Sheffield, Peking University, Wuhan University, Xiamen University and scientific research institutes attended the seminar.The opening ceremony was chaired by Sun Shuwen, director of the School of Chinese Language and Literature.
The conference focused on and served the national strategies, aiming at developing the innovation of academic ideas and methods in languages and characters application research, strengthening the frontier research and interdisciplinary research and promoting collaborative innovation and integration of disciplines.
