The first International Conference on Prevention and Intervention of School Bullying, organized by the school of psychology of Shandong Normal University and the School Bullying Research Center of Shandong Normal University, was held in Qianfoshan Campus from 12th,October to 14th. President Zeng Qingliang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Zhang Wenxin, deputy secretary of the party committee of SDNU, chaired the opening ceremony.
Zhang Wenxin co-chaired the conference with Christina Salmivalli, a Finnish National Science Award winner and professor of Shandong Normal University. Renowned experts from home and abroad were invited to attend the conference.
Zeng Qingliang welcomed the leaders, experts, scholars and conference delegates attending the meeting.He expressed the hope that the school of psychology would take this conference as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with experts and scholars on school bullying research at home and abroad. Zhang Wenxin expressed the hope that the psychology community will promote the study of prevention and intervention of school bullying in China
This conference is a milestone in the development of scientific research on school bullying and the practice of prevention and intervention in China. And it has enhanced the academic influence of the psychology discipline of SDNU in the field of international psychology.
