On the evening of September 29th, SDNU participated in the celebration performance of the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China in Beijing. Xi Jinping,Li Keqiang,Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Zhao Leji, Han Zheng, and Wang Qishan watched the performance with more than 4000 audience.
The performance was divided into four chapters. 90 students from the School of Music，SDNU made a brilliant appearance in 10 programs including "No Communist Party, no new China", "Autumn Harvest Uprising", " Dadao March ", "Cross the Yangtze River ", " Toast Song ", "In the Fields of Hope", "You and Me", "Song of the Yangtze River", "Newborn Baby", "Let’s Struggle, Chinese". All the students showed their affection, good spiritual outlook and excellent professional level. Teachers Gao Zhiyi and Zhang Jiao of the Dance Department of the School of Music were invited to participate in the directing group of the performance.Five teachers participated in daily rehearsals. All the excellent performances of teachers and students won warm applause from the audience and high praise from the director group.
