On September 19th, the United Front Department of the Party Committee held a meeting on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Qianfoshan Campus. Zhang Wenxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee attended the meeting and made a speech. Representatives of democratic parties, non-party and united front groups in SDNU, relevant comrades in charge of the Party Committee office, the organizational department and the propaganda department, and all members of the United Front Department participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Jia Haining,Director of the United Front Department of the Party Committee.
At the meeting, Chen Dezhan, Huang Mingshui, counselors of the provincial government, representatives of various democratic parties, non-party and united front groups in SDNU such as Lin Yuzhen, representatives of the Overseas Chinese Federation, made speeches expressing their wishes for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and describing the course of their own development and growth,they also expressed their determination to make greater contributions to the reform and development of SDNU.
