From April 19th to 21st, the 2019 annual conference of the General Psychology and Experimental Psychology Committee of the Chinese Psychological Association was held in SDNU. The conference was sponsored by the General Psychology and Experimental Psychology Committee of the Chinese Psychological Association,co- sponsored by the School of Psychology of Shandong Normal university and Shandong Psychological Association. The theme of the conference is "Basic Psychological Research Towards a New Era". The conference aims to focus on the current reality of China's economic and social development, fully demonstrate the latest achievements in basic psychological research in China, and widely promote academic exchanges and cooperation among academics.
The conference attracted more than 300 delegates from more than 70 universities and research institutes across the country, and held eight conference reports. 34 experts and scholars reported on five research topics, namely, integration and mechanism of multi-sensory information, decision-making and neuroeconomics, cognitive control and metacognition, attention and working memory, emotion and social cognition.
