On April 18th,SDNU held a part-time professor appointment ceremony in Changqinghu Campus, and appointed Professor Xing Laishun of Central China Normal University as a part-time professor. President Zeng Qingliang and Vice President Wang Hongyu attended the ceremony.
At the appointment ceremony, Zeng Qingliang warmly welcomed Professor Xing Laishun. He spoke highly of Professor Xing Laishun's academic achievements and his great influence at home and abroad, and thanked him for his long-term concern and support for the School of History and Culture and the discipline of history, especially for his trip to give academic reports to teachers and students and to guide the discipline construction. Zeng Qingliang briefly introduced the situation of SDNU, introduced the brilliant achievements and new development of the School of History and Culture under the leadership of the older generation of scholars such as An Zuozhang and Liu Zuochang. He welcomed Professor Xing Laishun to come to Shandong Normal University for guidance and sincerely hoped that Professor Xing Laishun and Central China Normal University would carry out more extensive cooperation and exchanges with SDNU in order to promote the related disciplines of SDNU.
Xing Laishun introduced the current situation and development of the study of German history in China, accepted the appointment of SDNU with pleasure,he then congratulated SDNU on the achievements in recent years, and expressed his willingness to provide support for the development of world history in Shandong Normal University.
