On April 15th, President Zeng Qingliang and VicePresident Wang Chuankui met Liu Haikun who is from the National Cancer Research Center of Germany,Dr. Yang Chao from Heidelberg University, Professor Zhang Liangran from Medical College of Shandong University and Professor Wu Guoying from Qilu Normal College in Qianfoshan Campus.
On behalf of SDNU, Zeng Qingliang welcomed Liu Haikun back to the alma mater. He said that the alma mater is the place where the dream of alumni begins,and is always the home of the alumni. He introduced the development of SDNU to the guests, emphasized the reform and development of higher education in the new era.Under the new situation,SDNU should highlight key points, strengthen the characteristics,coordinate resources at home and abroad, and closely communicate and cooperate with alumni at home and abroad,try to realize new breakthroughs indiscipline construction, personnel training, industry-university-research cooperation and so on
Wang Chuankui briefly introduced the construction of first-class discipline of biology. He hoped that SDNU would attach importance to giving full play to the advantages of alumni resources, actively expand cooperation with high-level universities and research institutions at home and abroad, constantly enhance the strength of disciplines and academic influence.
