On April 12th, Professor Judith Ndombi Waudo from Kenyatta University, Kneya, led a delegation to visit SDNU. Zhang Wenxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SDNU,welcomed the guests in Qianfoshan Campus. The two sides reviewed the achievements of previous exchanges, and discussed in-depth issues such as continuing to expand exchanges and cooperation between the two universities, expanding teacher-student exchanges and cooperative scientific research.

On behalf of SDNU, Zhang Wenxin first extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Kenyatta University. Zhang Wenxin said that Kenyatta University is our most close and friendly partner in Africa. The Confucius Institute at Kenyatta University is a model of successful cooperation between the two universities. He emphasized that our university and Kenyatta University have long formed friendly exchanges and interaction.SDNU will continue to support and actively promote cooperation in related disciplines, and provide more opportunities for cooperation between the two universities, at the same time, he hoped that this visit will further deepen the cooperation between the two sides.

Professor Judith Ndombi Waudo introduced a series of activities carried out by Kenyatta University through the Confucius Institute with SDNU.She expressed her gratitude to SDNU for providingopportunities and Confucius Institute Awards for Kenyatta University.She said that the undergraduate Chinese education program at Kenyatta University had been completed and was awaiting approval from the government. This project is of great significance to the cooperation between the two universities and to the solution of language difficulties for the master students coming to China. She expressed her strong desire to continue sending scholars and students to Kenyatta University for visits and deeper cooperation between the two universities.
