On April 4th, the 2018 Shandong Science and Technology Award Conference was held in Jinan. The conference commended the units and individuals who won the 2018 National Science and Technology Award and the Shandong Science and Technology Award. The provincial Party committee secretary Liu Jiayi, the vice secretary of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial governor Gong Zheng and other provincial leaders awarded certificates to the awarded delegates. Zeng Qingliang, president of SDNU,leading officials of office of science and technology and award-winning representatives attended the meeting. Professor Tang Bo and Professor Li Haitao of SDNU came to the stage as award-winning representatives to receive the awards.
In 2018,SDNU won one second prize of National Natural Science and four prizes of Shandong Science and Technology. Among them, Professor Tang Bo won the second prize of National Natural Science,Professor Li Haitao and Professor Xu Xianxiu won the second prize of Natural Science in Shandong Province,Professor Zheng Yuanjie and Professor Fan Shoujin won the second prize of scientific and technological progress in Shandong Province.
