On March 22nd, Masaya SHIOZAWA, Director of the Exchange Center of International Exchange Foundation,Japan,paid SDNU a visit. Zhang Wenxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SDNU welcomed the Japanese guests in Qianfoshan Campus.Leading officials from the School of Foreign Languages and the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation participated in the meeting.
Zhang Wenxin warmly welcomed Masaya SHIOZAWA who visited SDNU for the first time. He briefly reviewed the achievements of exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the past six years. Among them, the window of Sino-Japanese exchanges is the highlight of cooperation between the two sides and a good window to show Japanese culture . He said that the window of Sino-Japanese exchanges has carried out various meaningful activities to promote the exchange of different cultures, especially the interaction between young people in China and Japan, and has developed profound friendship between the two countries. As a bridge of cultural exchange between China and Japan, the window of Sino-Japanese exchanges not only supports students'exchange projects, but also promotes the development of teachers in academic work.SDNU will pay more attention to and support the operation of the window of Sino-Japanese exchanges.
Masaya SHIOZAWA expressed her gratitude for the warm hospitality. She said she was impressed by the environment of Shandong Normal University.TheInternational Exchange Foundation has established 17 windows of Sino-Japanese exchanges in China, the one in SDNU is leading in scale and operation in China.The year of 2019 is the Year of Youth Promotion between China and Japan, she hopes that both sides will have more cooperation and exchanges.
