On January 8th, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council held the National Science and Technology Award Conference in Beijing. Leaders of the Party and the state, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Wang Huning and Han Zheng attended the conference. Xi Jinping presented awards to the award-winning delegates. The project "Research on theFluorescence Imaging of CellularHomeostasis Regulating Active Molecules" completed by Shandong Normal University won the second prize of National Natural Science Award, as a result, Shandong Normal University became the first provincial university in Shandong Province to win the National Natural Science Award withthe first author affiliation being SDNU.
