On December 1st, the teachers and students of School of Music were sent to attend the 2019 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Zhang Wenxin sent off the teachers ,students and delivered a speech.
Zhang Wenxin congratulated our university on being invited to attend CCTV Spring Festival Gala again and expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the participating teachers and students who have worked hard. Zhang Wenxin said that the excellent performance of teachers and students on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala stage last year fully demonstrated the excellent quality of personnel training and good spiritual outlook of SDNU, which aroused good repercussions in society and won honors for SDNU. The invitation to attend the Spring Festival Gala again fully reflected the recognition of CCTV and all sectors of society for the professional and comprehensive quality of teachers and students in our university. It is hoped that all the participating teachers and students will overcome difficulties and pressures, pay attention to personal safety, strive for the successful completion of performance tasks, and spread the good image of Shandong Normal University to all parts of the country and all over the world.
The 37 students who will attend the dance performance at CCTV Spring Festival Gala are all composed of undergraduates and postgraduates from the Department of Dance of School of Music.Gao Zhiyi, head of the dance department, is the leader. About half of them have participated in the performance of the Spring Festival Gala last year and have rich experience in performing. In order to ensure the rehearsal effect, the participating teachers and students have conducted a week of intensive training in the university. After arriving in Beijing, they will formally enter the rehearsal stage of the Spring Festival Gala.
