On November 26th, Zhang Wenxin met the delegation led by Professor Shahzad Basra from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan in Qianfoshan Campus.
Zhang Wenxin warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced SDNU and the international cooperation of SDNU. He said that China and Pakistan have been good friends from generation to generation, "one belt and one road" development strategy and the construction of China-Pakistan economic corridor provide new opportunities for bilateral cooperation. Shandong Normal University has been undertaking the education and teaching of foreign students from Pakistan for a long time and has achieved gratifying results.SDNU hoped to take this opportunity to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.
Professor Basra thanked SDNU for the warm reception. He said that the friendship between China and Pakistan has a long history. The main purpose of this visit is to conduct academic exchanges with Research Team led by Professor Zhang Hui from the School of Life Sciences,to jointly apply for the cooperation projects between the two countries and deepen cooperation between the two universities. Professor Basra invited SDNU to visit University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in February next year.
