On October 20, an academic seminar on "cultural confidence and cultural power construction in the new era " co-hosted by Social Sciences in China Press and Shandong Normal University was held in Qianfoshan Campus. Shang Zhixiao and Luo Wendong, deputy editor of Social Sciences in China Press and chief editor of Chinese Social Sciences Net attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches respectively.More than 50 experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, the National Defense University, Fudan University, Shandong University, Anhui University, Suzhou University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Hunan Normal University, the Party School of the Shandong Provincial Committee, and other universities and scientific research institutes attended the seminar. The opening ceremony was chaired by Wan Guangxia, vice president of SDNU.
This seminar had a concentrated theme and a strong focus. During the exchange and collision of views from various perspectives, the experts and scholars have deepened the understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping's cultural confidence and the important thought of cultural power. It was of great significance to enhance cultural confidence and promote the construction of a cultural power in the new era.
