On September 3,in order to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's War of Resistance Against Japan and the victory of the world's anti-fascist war,SDNU held a flag-raising ceremony in Changqinghu Campus. Wang Huanbin, Wang Hongyu attended the function together with the leading officials of the office of the Party Committee, the President's Office, Changqinghu Campus Office, the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, the Graduate Affairs Office, the Student Affairs Office, the League Committee.More than 1200 people including the National Flag Guard of Shandong Normal University, the reserve company of military training instructors, the new students from School of Physical Education, School of History and Social Development and School of Geography and Environment took part in the activity. The ceremony was Chaired by Yu Xiaoming,Director of Student Affairs Office.
Wang Huanbin delivered a speech. He said that we held the flag-raising ceremony on this special day in order to remember history and the martyrs,we should bravely assume the mission and create the future.We should diligently study and work , improve ourselves ,determine to pursue excellence.
The ceremony greatly stimulated the strong patriotism and national pride of the teachers and students, especially the freshmen of grade 2018. They unanimously expressed that they should be patriotic, practical, diligent, discerning, and become capable and responsible young people in the new era, and make unremitting efforts to realize the "Chinese dream" of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
