On June 2nd, the Middle East Research Centre of Shandong Normal University was established in Qianfoshan Campus. Zhang Qianhong,Vice President of the Middle East Research Society and Vice President of Zhengzhou University, Tang Bo,President of SDNU, Wang Hongyu, Vice President attended the ceremony. Wang Hongyu and Zhang Qianhong unveiled the plaque of the Middle East Research Centre.
Tang Bo warmly welcomed Zhang Qianhong and briefly introduced the current academic and scientific research of SDNU. He said that the establishment of the Middle East Research Centre can exploit the advantages of the school of history and social development. He also appreciated the support and assistance of President Zhang Qianhong who is a famous scholar in the research of the Middle East.
Zhang Qianhong extended her gratitude to President Tang Bo for his hospitality. She said that the world history discipline of SDNU has profound academic accumulation and considerable academic influence in China.She congratulated on the establishment of the Middle East Research Centre and hoped that Zhengzhou University and SDNU would strengthen further cooperation and exchanges in the research of Middle East.
