From May 5th to 7th, the 2018 Seminar of China's industrial policy and development geography was held in SDNU. Duan Peiyong, vice president of Shandong Normal University,was present and delivered a speech. Zhang Guoyou, vice chairman and executive secretary of the geographical society of China, and He Shujin, Deputy Secretary General of the geographical society of China, were invited to attend the seminar. More than 300 scholars ,experts,teachers and students from 56 universities and institutes includingthe Institute of geography and resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Nanjing University and Fudan University participated in the seminar. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Wang Chengxin,director of the school of geography and environment.
This seminar not only provided valuable scientific research and learning experience for teachers and students, but also expanded their horizons, moreover, it alsopromoted the exchange and interaction of related disciplines as well asthe development of industrial policy and development of geography.
