Recently, the exhibition of western oil paintings(duplicated copy)was held in Qianfoshan Campus. Wang Huanbin and Yao Dongfang attended the exhibition which attracted numerous teachers and students.
This exhibition wasthe first public display of the duplicated copy of Western oil paintings in the library, which covered the works of the famous artists such as Da vinci, Rafael, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Rubens, Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh and so on,ranging from the period of Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo school, classicalism to Impressionism. Mostof the paintings are in the hands of the Metropolitan Museum, Boston Museum, British Museum, and private collectors in the US and Europe. The duplicated western oil paintings are close to the original ones in both color and size,which have very high ornamental value.
