On June 12th, the "Harmony in Diversity: China-Arab Classical Civilizations Dialogue Conference," hosted by the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies was held in Cairo, Egypt. Former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Ambassador to China of Egypt, as well as Vice President of the Egypt-China Friendship Association, former Deputy Minister of Culture and Head of the National Film Center of Egypt ,former Ambassador to Russia and Chairman of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs,and Guo Chengyan, Deputy Director of the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and Vice Chairman of the China Confucius Foundation, attended the conference. Feng Jikang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong Normal University, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Harmony in Diversity: The Confucian Ideal of a Universal Community with a Shared Future."
