On October 26th, the induction ceremony for foreign experts was held in Qianfoshan Campus. President Zhang Jian attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. 15 long-term foreign experts representatives from 8 countries attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Zhou Shanshan.
In his speech, Zhang Jian warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked foreign experts for coming to work in SDNU. He introduced the basic situation and the development achievements of SDNU made in recent years. Zhang Jian pointed out that SDNU has always attached great importance to the construction of an international teaching staff, and foreign experts are a valuable resource and important force for SDNU's international development. SDNU will continue to provide strong guarantees for the work and life of foreign experts, and build an internationally renowned first-class normal university as soon as possible. Zhang Jian presented the appointment letter to the foreign expert representatives attending the ceremony.
Rhee Hackkyu, a distinguished professor at the Business School and the Korean director of the Internationalization Demonstration College, and Sergei Makhov, the Russian director of the Herzen International Art College, respectively delivered speeches on behalf of foreign experts. They expressed their good wishes for actively integrating into the development of SDNU and their expectations for future work and life in China.
