From October 17th to 20th, the joint expert group of the Ministry of Education conducted the Teacher Education Professional Certification Evaluation. The expert group consists of 12 members, with Professor Liu Yibing from Southwest University serving as the leader of the group and the expert group leader of the art major. Professor Yang Jiumin from Central China Normal University serves as the expert group leader of the education technology major.

On October 18th, the expert group meeting was held in Qianfoshan Campus. All members of the Joint Certification Expert Group, relevant leaders of the Shandong Provincial Department of Education and the Shandong Academy of Education Sciences, as well as SDNU’s leaders Zhang Jian, Zhou Jing, Zhang Maocong, Cai Yangjian, Zhou Shanshan, and Wang Zeguang attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Liu Yibing.

Liu Yibing gave an overall introduction to the importance of certification work, inspection requirements, and inspection tasks.President Zhang Jian, on behalf of SDNU, warmly welcomed the expert group, and briefly introduced the development of the teacher education reform and the implementation of teacher training professional certification work.

During the two and a half day on-site professional certification evaluation, the expert group conducted a comprehensive examination of the education technology major and art major through in-depth interviews, listening and watching classes, reviewing papers, organizing symposiums.

On October 20th, the expert group held a feedback meeting. Liu Yibing, on behalf of the Joint Certification Expert Group, provided feedback on the overall situation of the entrance examination. The expert group provided feedback on the outstanding problems and shortcomings at various levels and proposed improvement suggestions. Zhang Jian, on behalf SDNU, expressed sincere gratitude and high respect for the diligent and rigorous work and diligent attitude of the expert group.
