On September 12th, the launch ceremony of the patriotism and national defense education was held in SDNU. Leng Xingbang, Sun Xiaoyun, Zhang Quanhua, Zhang Xiaowen, Xu Longhe, and Zhang Jian, the President of Shandong Normal University and Xu Shuangqing, the vice president, attended the ceremony. More than 300 people, including representatives from National Defense Education Demonstration Schools, Shandong Provincial National Defense Education Characteristic Cinemas, Shandong Patriotic Education Base, relevant departments of Shandong Normal University, and student representatives, participated in the event. Students from all over the province participated in the event through online live streaming.
In his speech, Zhang Jian pointed out that SDNU has always attached great importance to national defense education, adhering to integrating national defense education into ideological and political education and patriotism education for college students.Zhang Jian called on the deepening and implementation of national defense education in primary and secondary schools throughout the province, and striving to build a "Shandong brand" of patriotism and national defense education.
