On May 22nd, Yang Jun, Deputy Director of Center for Language Education and Cooperation(CLEC） of the Ministry of Education, led and a delegation to visit SDNU to conduct a special survey on international Chinese education. President Zeng Qingliang met the guests in Qianfoshan Campus.
Zeng Qingliang extended a warm welcome to Yang Jun and his delegation, and briefly introduced the running of SDNU, the construction of the Chinese International Education discipline, the Confucius Institute, and the progress of studying in China. Based on the survey conducted by CLEC, he focused on introducing the joint education between SDNU and Russia, the construction of Confucius Classrooms, and the construction of some Sino Russian projects. Zeng Qingliang reviewed the Language Cooperation Center project undertaken by SDNU in recent years and expressed gratitude for the support of CLEC for SDNU's international Chinese education work. He expressed that SDNU will attach great importance to and strongly support international Chinese education work, and hoped to continue to receive support and assistance from the center in the future.
Subsequently, Yang Jun and his delegation came to College of International Education to conduct research on the application and construction of the Language Cooperation Center project. Yang Jun fully affirmed the progress of the project and highly praised the significance and value of the virtual Chinese teaching and research room project. He expressed that CLEC will support the promotion of various projects in various forms, and encouraged existing projects to continue actively exploring, improve project planning, and further enhance the practical significance and global influence of the project.
