On May 6th, The Ancient Books Museum officially opened. Wan Guangxia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SDNU, Li Yonghui, Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Ancient Books Protection Center and Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Library, experts, scholars from both inside and outside Shandong Province, and some teachers and students attended the opening ceremony. Li Yonghui and Yao Chang jointly unveiled the plaque for the Ancient Books Museum.
The Ancient Books Museum is located on the seventh floor of the south building of the Qianfoshan Campus Library of SDNU, covering an area of 400 square meters. It is the first ancient books museum built by a university in Shandong Province. The museum plans to showcase the library's unique collection of ancient books through various media and means such as images, text, physical objects, and images through permanent exhibitions and various thematic exhibitions.
