On April 23rd, on the occasion of the 28th "World Reading Day", the launch ceremony of the 12th Shandong Normal University Reading Festival was held in Changqinghu Campus. Vice President Wan Guangxia attended the launch ceremony and delivered a speech. Leaders of the relevant departments as well as representatives of library teachers, students attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by the library director Du Baoguo.
At the ceremony, the leaders of the Party Committee Publicity Department and the Youth League Committee respectively announced the decision to commend civilized readers and outstanding volunteers of Shandong Normal University Library. The attending leaders presented the award certificate to the award-winning representatives.
