From April 15th to 16th, the final of the 8th National Normal University Student Teaching Skills Competition was held in Zhejiang Normal University. 6 contestants from SDNU participated in the competition, winning 2 first prizes and 4 second prizes, ranking first among provincial universities in terms of number of awards.
The competition consists of nine disciplines, Chinese language and literature, English, ideological and political education, history, mathematics and applied mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological science, and geographical science. Each university can recommend 1 contestant for each discipline. A total of 988 contestants from 167 normal colleges and universities across the country participated in the competition, which is divided into two parts: preliminary and final.Wang Yichao from the School of Foreign Languages, Li Xinmei from the School of Chemistry&Chemical Engineering and Materials Science won the first prize, Sun Qianqian from School of Marxism, Han Bing from the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Hong Shuying from the School of Physics and Electronic Sciences, Wei Xiaolian from the School of Life Sciences won the second prize.
