On May 29th 2017, the Medical Physics Images Processing Technology Seminar was hosted by Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of the Medical Physics Image Processing Technology of SDNU. President Tang Bo and vice president Man Baoyuan attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Experts and scholars from universities, hospitals and research institutes of the United States, Australia and China participated in academic reports and discussions. Professor TianJie from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor XingLei from Stanford University and a dozen well-known experts from China and other countries delivered subject academic reports.
At the seminar, specially invited experts made more than ten academic reports on the fourth floor of Wenhua Building, covering many research fields in Medical Image Processing such as medical image data, radionics, clinical application of artificial intelligence and recent advances in medical physics technology. During the seminar, a number of experts visited the Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Medical Physics Image Processing Technology, and had in-depth conversations with the key laboratory team members. Experts listened to the work report given by the key laboratory personnel, and gave some valuable suggestions on laboratory construction.
This seminar will further promote the construction of key laboratories and expand the academic influence of our university on medical physics image processing technology and related disciplines both in China and abroad.
