On the morning of March 23rd, Prof. Mallikarjuna Rao Pichika,Associate Dean (Research & Consultancy), School of Pharmacy,International Medical University, Malaysia, visited SDNU. Vice President Wang Chuankui met the guests in Changqinghu Campus, and the two sides exchanged views on establishing inter-university friendly relations, joint student training programs and collaborative research and other topics. Leaders in charge of School of Life Sciences, Science and Technology Department, Graduate School, International Exchange and Cooperation Department and other units attended the event.
Wang Chuankui welcomed Mr. Pichika and briefly introduced the development of SDNU and its international exchange and cooperation.
Pichika thanked SDNU for the warm reception and expressed his appreciation for the solid background and good quality of the research team.
After the meeting, Pichika and the delegation visited the laboratory animal center, greenhouse, artificial climate chamber and large instrument platform of the School of Life Sciences, and gave a presentation entitled "Internship and Research Exchange Opportunities for Undergraduates" to teachers and students.
