On April 3rd,a delegation led by Hamaguchi Taishi, a member of the Parliament of Wakayama County,Japan, visited SDNU. Zhang Wenxin, deputy secretary of Party Committee of SDNU received the visitors in Qianfoshan Campus and discussed friendly on the promotion of Sino-Japanese cultural and academic exchanges as well as the students' short-term visiting group.
Zhang Wenxin extended his warm welcome to the visitors, he said that Shandong Normal University has always attached great importance to and continuously strengthened the exchanges with all walks of life in Japan, especially in the academic fields.With the exchanges between both sides becoming more frequent, the fields have been expanding and the results were more and more remarkable. He emphasized that through these exchanges, we have deepened mutual understanding between Chinese and Japanese people, especially the young students
Hamaguchi Taishi expressed his gratitude for SDNU’s warm reception. He said that Wakayama county has a long history of friendly relations with Shandong Normal University and Shandong province.He was pleased to hear that students of SDNU would pay a friendly visit to Wakayama county this year, and believed that this kind of friendly exchange, with the strong support of the enthusiastic people of Japan,would be sure to last continuously. Finally, he eagerly expressed his wish to communicate with Chinese people in a friendly manner and jointly promote the development of both sides.
